I studied graphic design in college, then spent 2 years working on videos and learning motion design and storytelling with Andrew Gallo at VsTheBrain. While doing that, I was learning about web design and falling in love with it. I often colloborate with Andrew at Sea Chant. Currently, I am interested in helping others tell their stories and share their ideas through 2d animation, design and front-end development, and I'm available for free-lance work.
I am married to the incredible Hannah Thorson, who is a painter.
Building my own website has been an opportunity to share my work, as well as hone my skills in things like HTML, CSS/SASS, a bit of JavaScript/JQuery, PHP, and responsive design. This site was built by hand using those technologies and a great little file-based CMS called Kirby.
